Atma yang Tersesat

Dalam perjalanan ini atmaku nyasar
Tersesat di antara riuhnya gelombang dan kepakan elang
Nyanyian jiwa makin pelan tak terdengar
Terdampar di antara bebatuan karang hilang tenggelam
Ah, siapa yang pantas disalahkan?
Dia telah beri segala yang Ia miliki tanpa pamrih
Sementara itu atmaku masih jua nyasar meski kidung pujian kulantunkan tiap pagi dan petang
Hilir mudik atmaku tak keruan
Mencari jalan pulang di antara gelapnya persimpangan
Hutan belantara, bukit dan gunung, lembah dan lautan menjadi tempat pelarian
Samsara tak jua berhenti menghadang
Atmaku hilang di telan keraguan
Nun jauh di sana
Pemilik atma masih berdiri
Merentangkan tangan berharap atma datang dalam peluk kedamaian
Sementara itu atmaku masih jua nyasar
Meski kidung pujian kulantunkan tiap pagi dan petang

The Lost Soul

In this journey, my soul has gone astray,
Lost amidst the roar of waves and the flapping of eagle wings.
The song of my soul grows faint, unheard,
Stranded among coral rocks, lost and submerged.
Ah, who is worthy of blame?
He has given all He has without reserve,
Yet my soul still wanders astray, though I chant hymns of praise each morning and evening.
My soul drifts aimlessly,
Searching for the way home through the darkness of crossroads.
Wild forests, hills and mountains, valleys and oceans become its refuge.
The cycle of samsara keeps blocking the path,
My soul swallowed by doubt.
Far over there,
The owner of the soul still stands,
Arms outstretched, hoping the soul will return to the embrace of peace.
Yet my soul still wanders astray,
Though I chant hymns of praise each morning and evening.
